Services
Everything to do with solar, on one truck.
Eleven services covering the whole life of an array: getting it off a roof, getting it back on, and keeping it producing in between. Every one of them has its own page with what the work involves and what is included.
01 Solar Panel Removal and Reinstallation The R and R roofers ask for. The array comes off before the tear off, gets stacked and covered on site, and goes back up once the new roof is down. What it involves
02 New Solar System Installations Full installs for solar companies that need a crew on the roof. Racking set, mounts flashed, panels hung, array wired and tested. What it involves
03 Solar Panel Upgrades and Expansions Adding panels to an array that is already up, or swapping older panels for higher output ones on the same roof. What it involves
04 Troubleshooting and System Repairs A system that stopped producing usually comes down to one loose connection, one dead panel or one failed inverter. We work through it until we find which. What it involves
05 Inverter Replacement Inverters wear out long before the panels do. We pull the old unit, mount the replacement and bring the array back online. What it involves
06 Electrical Disconnect and Reconnect Taking the array off the electrical side before roof work starts, and tying it back in once the roof is closed up. What it involves
07 System Testing and Commissioning Every string checked, output confirmed against what the array should be making, and the system signed off before it goes back to the owner. What it involves
08 Critter Guard Installation Mesh clipped around the edge of the array so squirrels and birds cannot get underneath and chew the wiring. What it involves
09 Solar Panel Cleaning Dust, pollen and bird mess washed off the glass so the panels make what they are rated to make. What it involves
10 Preventive Maintenance Scheduled checks on the mounts, the wiring and the output, so a small problem gets caught before it takes the array down. What it involves
11 Roof Penetration Sealing Every bolt hole and mount left in the roof flashed and sealed properly, so water stays outside. What it involves Drag the handle
Your panels are only as good as the light that reaches them.
A panel makes power from light hitting the cell. Dust, pollen, salt film and bird mess all sit between the sun and that cell, and every bit of it is light your system never gets to use. Pull the handle across and see the difference.
-
It does not clean itself
Rain rinses the loose dust and carries the rest down the slope, where it dries as a band along the bottom edge of every panel. That band shades a whole cell string.
-
You pay for it every month
The output you lose does not show up as a bill from us. It shows up as electricity you buy from the utility instead of making on your own roof, month after month.
-
It is reversible
Unlike a failed inverter or a cracked panel, soiling costs nothing to undo. Wash the glass and the array is back to producing what it was built to produce.
The clean side is a real array we finished. The soiled side is the same frame with a soiling layer over it, shown so you can see what a filmed over panel looks like up close.
Not sure which one
Describe the problem and we will tell you what it is.
Plenty of calls come in as "the app says it is down" or "the roofer needs the panels off next week". That is enough to start with. Tell us what is happening and we will tell you which of these it turns out to be, and what it costs.
If a roof job leaves bolt holes behind, our roof penetration sealing is the work that flashes and seals them so water stays outside.
Get in touch
Tell us the job and when to call.
Roofers: put the tear off date in the message and we will work to it. Solar companies: tell us the system and the site. Homeowners: tell us what the system is doing, or not doing.
